The winds started around 2 and now its 6. Howling howling winds with driving rain. The wind gusts are so loud and powerful. The power is gone. Once in a while you hear something hit the windows or the roof. It is wild.
But
Barkley and Matthew have slept through the entire thing. : )
We have a battery powered TV and have been keeping up with the storm.
We have all our trees from what I can tell and the front yard looks intact so far. Once the sun peaks through in a hour or so, I can better assess the situation.

Up this morning watching news reports but can't see anything other than anchors in rain gear showing downtown Houston buildings with windows blown out. They are talking flooding in canals - how did the development's water system hold up? Is that a concern with the pond out back? Waiting anxiously for word from y'all!
